Any good anime for a noob?

my personal favorite is Haikyuu which is an anime about volleyball, love it because its slightly more relatable than some other shows.

At the end of the day it all boils down to what you're into.
If you wanna get attached to characters and see how they grow go for some long running show like HunterXHunter or naruto
chill cute stuff: Lucky star
lewd but not porn: High school DxD or high school of the dead
sports: kuroko no basket or Haikyuu
