Did bitcoin die?

its sill worth a lot, but mining aint worth ur time it takes too long- unless you have a team or like 5 dedicated PC's using free electric.
Know a guy who didnt sell his coins when they were worth like 16k and he lost 50k+.
Also bought some other shitty coins which were meant to skyrocket but they all failed
