What was your first creation in MC?

My first house in minecraft was a birch one floor house with a red wool roof. When i finished it Tragedy struck, a lightning filled rainstorm set my wool roof on fire and burned my house to the ground.
I learned the hard way that wool isn't a good option for roofs.
