Close Thread Conformation or Open

I dunno if its been requested before, but I find myself accidentally closing my own threads a lot.
Pretty much what I am asking is that when you press the close thread button, it asks you "Are you sure you want to close this thread" or something of that nature.
Or if not that, maybe a button to open the thread back up if closed. I know you can ask a staff, but if one is not on and you cannot wait for one to come on, it might be useful.
This might be considered a dumb request, but I would find it very useful.
