People like drake's music because he's such a public figure, and because they like how his voice sounds over any type of beat. He crams a ton of references into each song and people who praise his music will listen to those references and go "ooooo he really just said that omg". I would listen to his music at parties or kickbacks and whatnot, but I wouldn't solely listen to his music in my free time because it's not my style. People will hate on him because they don't think he's that talented, and just see him as a stereotype of every rapper trend that's happening right now.
