Serious Planning to move out of my house.

Essentially, I plan to move out of my current home into an apartment.
What I would like to know is:

1. What kind of bills do I have to pay (besides rent, which I see is around $500 more or less)
   
2. How taxes and stuff will apply to me (as a resident of South Carolina in the United States)
   
3. What I'll have to do if I go and buy someones vehicle on Craigslist or from a friend
   

I am going to be able to hopefully keep a stable job making two dollars above minimum wage,
working 24 hours a week while I'm in school (Saturdaysand Sundays).
I hope to work full-time over the summer or when I graduate high school.


I also hope that I'm going about moving out the correct way to where I don't fuck my life up.
