RE: Windows or Linux

#207
I've been using windows for quiiiite a long time as well as linux. From my point of view, Windows is the best for day to day use because it has everything you need, installation of software is easy, you can do any kind of development with powerful tools such as visual studio (haters may hate, but vs is 9.9/10) and if you have friends (i doubt it), you'll be able to see with your own eyes how not even 1/10 of them have linux. And talking about linux, I (personally) wouldn't use for day to day use because it's harder to install software, some problems may take hours to be fixed, battery lasts less time when using it in a laptop (not always, but most of the times) and it may be a little bit difficult for a beginner to use. That doesn't mean you shouldn't use linux, because you SHOULD use it for every non day to day task (servers, hosting, game server, etc). I mean, who the f*ck installs apache in a windows server, in fact, who the hell uses windows servers. So, this being said, I'd use (and use) linux for any server related stuff and windows for the day to day work.
