What would be the benefit of getting it now? Remember how haswell had the 4770k before the 4790k? I believe that skylake will have a better improved version with possibly a faster stock frequency. Hopefully intel will pull something great off for gaming cpu's. Us gamers are not so interested in the million cores but the Cache and stuff is important!
I'm hoping my 4690K will do me for a while, however I'll always be on the lookout for when Intel release a good gaming CPU :yus:
i5 4690k is PERFECT for todays gaming up to 4k resolution. I just wanted i7 4790k JUST to have it.
It'll last you for a while I truly believe.
Would love an i7 but can't justify the price for what I'll be doing.
