It's actually been really stable lately... within a ~$500 range (< 10% range) for over 2 months now:



(Compared with ~25%/$2000+ ranges within a single day earlier in the year.)

Bitcoin's been more stable than most stocks over the same period, including Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, Bekshire Hathaway, Samsung, BP, etc.
