When I knew him in '12 he seemed like he wanted the money and not the reality of owning a forum.

I left.

Same with many other people, it's a shame to start a forum like this just for the profit.

The amount of potential some forums have is unreal.

Good leadership is one of the many things a forum needs, I'd say we have it here.
