RE: Can money really buy happiness?

No way. Money does not buy happiness.
Money CAN buy materialistic items that can help make you happy like a car, a gaming console, an awesome house, and so on. If you have money, you have access to virtually everything in the world with the exception of one thing:
True friendship and companionship. I feel as though having a lot of money is opening the floodgates for fake friends and disloyal counterparts. They all want to be your friend just because you're the wealthy guy with all of the cool stuff. What about who you are as a person?
Personally, I cannot go without social interaction that is actually deep and meaningful. I could be the richest person on the face of the Earth, but if I had no true close friends or a significant other it would mean nothing to me.

Money buys fun, it doesn't buy friends.
