Anime for a beginner watcher?

Id recommend watching Sword Art Online, its basiclly a story of a kid who bought a gaming set that would let him get in a game like irl (kinda like virtual reality) but then he and all the other people playing got stuck in the game, and must beat it to leave. It has a lot of deaths, its sad and u can really connect with the characters, i think u might like it!
