what do you mean lockdown? I was also a kid at that time, how old are you if you don't mind me asking? our tv at the time only had 5 channels, I used to come back from school and turn on cbbc or citv (old school kids channels) but all 5 channels were live news.
As for the theory itself, I'm not entirely sure if it's been proven or not. Other variables may come into play, such as the type of fuel used, so it's not exactly easy to disprove or prove this one.
You know what got me? the complete and utter lack of investigation in to the incident. it was yep, terrorism, lets go to war and then it was all for oil thing, so many conspiracies surrounding one event in history
