You need something unique or at least something that defines your channel. Something you like. Also you should upload videos constantly, maybe once or twice a week but make sure you got your regular upload times. I think the fact that you should put effort into your videos to rise the quality speaks for itself. And yeah...just be patient. Do something that other people and you enjoy I guess.
