There are some artists that do that in rap, some that don't. Generalizing rap into that single category would be bad. Joyner Lucas, for his "I'm not racist" song, takes the perspectives of a MAGA white man and a black man and makes into a rap song about their conversation. Chance The Rapper has some elegant songs that are typically upbeat and calming, and his newest singles exemplify that. Amine is another rapper that has some songs that are basically sattire and trash on those types of rapping, etc.
There's a lot of artists out there that just don't rap about this stuff. Some talk about racial division, inequality, and current problems going on in our society today.
