Would you pay to prevent your nudes leaking online?

Recently a few of my family members have received those scam messages that all have the same gist.

We have your nudes, pay us or we leak them to your facebook friends.

Obviously these are scams but it raises an interesting question, how many of you would pay to prevent this happening if it were legit?
