What is the best gift that you have ever received?

The best gift I have ever received was not what most would consider a gift. Through nearly all of my life I have forced myself to keep a mentor type figure in my life, and the greatest gift I have received came from the person I currently look up to the most.

The gift he have me was a simple note. He told me everything he thought about me and how proud of me he was. Hearing the person I look up to the most in my life say such great things about me and telling me he believes I have such great potential was the most gratifying and rewarding things I have ever experienced or received. He really showed and reminded me to keep pushing through life and to never give up, and I will never forget the things he continues to exemplify about life.
