Tips For Opening Gmod Server

Any VPS hardware recommendations for a server that's aiming for 60+ players? A server with a 3ghz dualcore and 3gigs or RAM should fair pretty well right? I just don't want any bottlenecks on the hardware side since stuff like that is harder to fix than streamlining scripts or software.
