Have You Ever Shot a Gun?

The last time I shot a gun was when I was a little boy. My father had me aim the gun at a mound of dirt so as to keep from injuring someone.

The gun in question was some shotgun (I can't remember what manufacturer or model) and I remember being knocked off of my feet by the kickback of the gun.
