Favorite VR Title

I don't want to start a new thread for this question only. Is there any way to use VR in games really cheap? I can not afford professional VR stuff for now. I have heard about google cardboard, and even tried it, but my eyes don't agree with this option. Maybe because of too low resolution of my phone... I would also want something working with my computer, not my mobile.
