Look, theres always two sides of a coin. The people here are saying no and yes. People will get confused.
What I'd say is, looking at the current situation, the whole crypto market has been in a bear market since last end of 2018. Prices have been dwindling down since the start of that year. Why? Because the value of bitcoin, which holds 50% market cap of the whole crypto market has been widely manipulated towards the end of 2017 - meaning that close to $20k a coin is not its real value, it's just based on hype and get-rich-quick mindset.
More recently though, btc has spiked up from $3k range to $5k. This means that, the bear market is over. There are positive notes all over this coin right now. And I suppose the true value of it is not misrepresented right now.
So should you invest? Well if youre an opportunist, then I'd say yes. If you dont have the stomach to see future fluctuations, then don't and just stick to traditional financial instruments.
