What's the weirdest rule you had in your home growing up?

Kinda depressing looking back at it, but me and my brother were never allowed to show emotion. Anything less than "fine" was absolutely unacceptable. Screwed me up for a long time, and if anyone else is going threw that, I urge you to seek professional help.
