Possible to bridge host anymore?

I've done research and can't seem to find any tutorials on how to bridge host in Halo 2 (MCC/ H2C). Just the old ones. I've been told the old method doesn't work, but I know for fact there is still at least 1 or 2 ways to do it.

Anyone here happen to know how to do it? Or maybe lead me in the right direction?

Also, is there a way to circle boost like the old original Halo 2 days? Where you can ensure that you only match up against your friends (other boosters)
