When I grew older I would watch a few minutes of big popular anime that would air on Toonami like Bleach, Cowboy Bepop, etc... But the first anime that I'd watch from start to finish was Death Note. Death Note is what sparked a kind of chain reaction within the past decade to leading and seeing now around 60 animes (few of which being movies, and later seasons of the same series, so I guess less than 60, but I personally count them up like such)
