in one simple word... yes.... even though the price fluctuates a lot, the fees are minimal, so you don't end up paying %10-%35 transfer fees.
Oh, and in terms of investment, if you stake it (buy and let it rest)... you will be making a safe investment, as the prices are just going one way.
