Have you roleplayed ever?

As the title goes; Have you roleplayed ever? And if you have: where (in real life or games), did you enjoy it and do you still roleplay. Was it so called "serious rp" and you didn't go off-character or was it more laid back. And if you roleplayed in real life, was it based on some era or was it fantasy and not based on history or anything realistic. And if you have roleplayed ever, please tell about your experience and afterwards feelings more. Oh and also, did you make any new friends or not?

My personal experience is roleplaying in real life (just laid back roleplaying, nothing serious and not very active), then I have also roleplayed on Garry's Mod multiple multiple times (around 700 hours of different roleplaying servers and modes) for example DarkRP, Starwars RP, MilitaryRP, Half Life RP and many more. Then I stopped roleplaying on GMOD and tried to find something new, and I did, I found FiveM and got instantly hooked on that and I currently have around 1000 hours on it (I really suggest people trying it, if interested in roleplaying)
