I am stumped.... I was on my pc this morning, it was all fine. I lay down get back on and my keyboard and mouse suddenly don't work.

I plug them into the USB 2 slots and work. Moved my mic and cam to the USB 3 slots.

Device manager says all USB 3 hub is working, no little yellow triangle, but it appears to only power the device, not send any data.
I have an AS-rock z87 extreme 6, the bios says all usb hubs are enabled etc.

Things I have done:
  • Ensured they are fully plugged in / they are
  • Reinstalled USB hub software thing from mobo manufacture. / No changes
  • enabled and disabled in device manager / device manager insists all are up to date and working.
  • Switched USB's around / my mic receives power, as the red light is on.. but just doesn't work.
  • Tested front usb 3's / all work fine.
  • Checked Bios, all is enabled.

Any suggestions? also... I have never updated bios is it easy to do, because that is what a huge amount of google suggest.
Do you think something sort circuited and fried it or something?
