I have tried apple music, but I really appreciate the way that Spotify allows me to find new artists and I feel gives me much better recommendations than apple music has in terms of understanding the actual genres I am listening to and finding bands that are a part of those rather than them fitting a broad category that loosely ties them together. I have been pretty surprised by how well Spotify is able to connect very small and niche artists to my tastes.
