Personally I stick with what I know and what works. ULX has caused me 0 problems (Ok maybe a couple problems when I didn't know what I was doing) over a span of 7 years. It is free, easy to setup and easy to use when it comes down to general staffing.
If you insist on buying an admin system I cannot recommend one based on personal experience due to the fact that the only paid admin system I've used was Server Guard and I didn't like it.
A couple of my friends say that xAdmin 2 is pretty decent but I cannot confirm because I've never used it.
