That's actually a really good question, and I been thinking about purchasing either of the two phones.

And the short answer is, the Pixel is really good. And it isn't only a hair better than the OnePlus.

The Pixel may be about 650 USD compared to the 400 USD OnePlus, but there are MANY things that the Pixel has that the OnePlus doesn't.

For example, the camera on the Pixel may have 4 MP less than the OnePlus but MP isn't everything when it comes to a camera. The Pixel is far better at taking images and recording video.

And not only that, but the Pixel has a lot of software firsts as it is one of the first phones to have Android 7.1, which gives it the new VR capabilities which are apparently astonishingly amazing, and Google Assistant.

And, it gets a 7 hour charge in about 15 minutes, faster than the OnePlus, and it has a Snapdragon 821, faster than the OnePlus.

But, it comes down to budget. If you have about 550 USD or less in your pocket for a phone, you should get the OnePlus. If you have more than that, you should probably strive for the Pixel.
