Why do people hack?

In other words, the employer pays a hacker to hack into the system of the employer. Some do it for advantages on certain levels, or to earn money. Where as some do it in the name of justify and others do it because it gives them a tingling feelings. There are many reasons to do something, and pretty much everyone have their own reasons.
