Don't quote me on being 100% certain, but I'm sure you can make a new thread if it's a new version. Because it'll get a larger amount of views from people instead of it being somewhere dug into the comments of an older versions thread.
It's entirely up to you, if you don't want credits or to create a thread, posting it in this one will do fine. If you do feel like people would be interested in a newer version, you can always make a newer thread, get more views and a chance of someone unlocking your content.
