My school is definitely not smarter than a 5th grader

So i was out of school this week for stuff. My friend just texted me that he was in the principal's office for two hours and his parents were called down and that he was nearly suspended. Well Mr. Diplo what could he have possibly done?! He was in health lab and his computer was going slow (normal, my school has shit wifi), he opens cmd and checks the ping. The health teacher sees this and immediately thinks hes trying to hack into the school's online grade book. She shuts down his computer and walks him to the principle. He gets scolded and his parents come down wondering what the fuck he did. He tells them he was checking the ping because his computer was slow. The principle, not knowing what a ping is, nearly gives him a two week suspension. He pulls out his phone and google's the word ping and shows it to the principle. He then apologies for the mistake and sends him back to class. What a retard.
