Htaccess config doesn't make a difference so this config will work and doesn't needs to be updated
I know it will work but purpose of this mod is improving performance and get better score in Google Page Speed. So getting updated code is a good idea.
For SEO, it's better to use plugins for IPS too. Just my opinion so yeah.
