Not because the 7, 8 or X are not affordable but because I cannot, and will not, justify spending that sort of money on something that my phone also runs 99.9% of the time. The AR Kit stuff looks interesting but in all honesty I browse the web, check my email and use Waze - that's pretty much it. My "old" iPhone 6+ still works, got the battery replaced when getting my screen repaired under insurance so it's like I have a new phone anyway.
