There is no point to discuss which is better, because there are people, who like iPhone, and opposite, so, both are good in their own waysand you don't know how much Apple technology is worth, if you can make better than Apple have, please, do it.
Talking about thread, I can't imagine web developing or design on phone.. But maybe Samsung Note series? Because they have big screens and made for doing more that chit-chat's or calls.
