Sorry for the late response. I made it in photoshop and I did make a guide on how to do exactly this but it was in Devils group and by now I assume it's gotten deleted. My graphics design career has been really slowed down as I was inspired to do it by the Devils group which no longer exists. If you'd like I can rewrite the guide.

I'd suggest to rework on the smaller details such as these ones:
Poly images look nice when some details are emitted but you can still understand what's going on.
For example the shirt's pocket, we know its a shirt because of the collar if you remove the pockets it will still be seen as a shit!

Thanks for all the feedback and sorry for the late response. I saw this post a month ago or something but I didn't respond. I really appreciate the feedback but how do I avoid cracks in the lowpolyart? People can see some of the original picture behind it still. (Some of which you pointed out)
