I rarely lose lane since he is a) fairly tanky even starting out and b) a fantastic burst against anything and everything. I go for an early cheese build consisting of waiting until 3 and going in with ignite and maxed rage. I'd say a great portion of my engages end in a kill and eventual snowball. He can fall off in late game but generally if you play it right you end long before late game even becomes an issue. I would suggest looking up people like solorenektononly as he does a very good job at explaining champions and he mains top for the most part.
