My second thread design attempt 2 (Empty design feel free to use)

That looks great! Well done on the design.
One thing though: The images for the social icons, they look a bit funky and feint. They look like they aren't antialiased enough (such as in a game, the jagged edges -- You know what I mean).
You can fix this easily by making the lines a little thicker, or adding a light/medium edge blur to make them blend in better, instead of just being hard pixels.

Other than that, it looks great dude!
