It very well is. The beta doesn't have a lot of features and you can find bugs.
Less bugs on the released ones, they'll also get rid of support prolly.

It isn't. That only helps them find bugs faster. And they won't get rid of support, not until years later. It'd be stupid to get rid of support for a product that isn't even 6 months old.

So you're saying that they'll provide support for a BETA product, when the 'full' version is released?
If so.. I don't even know.

They would have support for both, would they not?

Uhh.. they cut support for the widely used Win XP, which was outdated, but still used.
So they'd still provide support a beta version of a released OS which isn't even used that much?
I'm sure they'll still have some kind of support, security updates etc for a few months, but that's it.

Also the upgrade is free, doesn't require that much effort. So I see literally no reason of why not to upgrade.
