TF2 has player-made servers, whereas Overwatch doesn't; Overwatch has frequent updates, which often shift balancing of the game; TF2 has fewer updates, but gameplay has remained intact for a decade (It's hard to tell what Overwatch will be like in a year). I would recommend seeing how you feel about Paladins, a F2P non-overwatch, team-based shooter. It leans more closely with the type of game Overwatch is without being the same game, so check out how you feel
