Hey guys wanted to get into bitcoin mining but first I need to know what kind of software would be easy and safe to use. Any suggestions?

You would want to mine bitcoin with whatever current version of hardware Ant-miner there is, plus be in a pool. Consider the electricity cost, and before you invest in any hardware get on some internet research rampage. There are a lot of things to consider, so i would not rely just on this forum here.

using a computer for mining is a lack of time. You need a mining hardware such as antminer. I've tried with my gtx titan. If i run 24/24, i'll get a bitcoin in 18 years...

I advice you to buy a mining rig or a cloud mining contract. You won't earn a lot of money with mining with your computer.

If you're mining with your computer you won't earn alot. I have a gaming a computer and If mined bitcoin I would only make a penny a month. You can do cloud mining but beware of scams. If anything try doing coins that use proof of stake. Proof of stake is where you get rewarded based just by keeping your computer on and having coins in your wallet.
