10 mg too much for anyone else?

Every edible in the world recommends 10mg as a "starter" dose. Well, for me, even that small amount fucking zonked me out. I was all twitchy and uncomfortable. Anyone else find that dividing that into 5mg or even 2.5mg doses to be a better option? Or am I the only one out there that's so heavily affected lol
