[2023] Ripping models from Sketchfab

Hello everyone! First of all this is NOT a guide if that's what you were expecting, I'm only here to help you with your requests.
Also, in order to even think about requesting you need to respect the following conditions:
  • Use the models ONLY for educational purposes, for example you can add them to a personal & private project, use them for mods, use them in animations, etc.
  • NEVER post the models online (for free or with a price attached to it) since I'll know if it was ripped by me, so don't try it. If I find even one model I gave on this forum online on a site, I'll delete this thread.
  • Don't request 10 models at once if the thread is already full of requests. I will only give 5 models to each individual, don't push your luck & don't take advantage of people's kindness.
  • Be kind to each other, don't judge and/or insult people's requests.
  • Don't even dare mention 3dripper dot com or other scummy sites/videos like that, even if they work...they add malware to their products and they're also limited as heck, so watch out for those...and especially watch out for the scammers on YouTube who make you pay for models or edit their videos in a way that it looks legit. It's insane what I've seen out there, they forgot this is piracy: You don't pay for it, otherwise, you would've offered the money to the original creator of the model. What they're doing is illegal as well and much worse than just offering a service like I am.
  • Promise that at some point in time you will support at least 1 of the creators you've requested models from.
  • So, in short: Don't spam requests, Don't mention other methods (you can message me about them tho, they are legit I'll update the thread) DON'T post the models anywhere publicly, Don't sell the models, Don't be toxic, Don't ask about how I do it (not in the thread, send me a message directly).

If this thread blows up and gets busy, I don't mind helping fulfilll requests.
I have a method for getting models from sketchfab and I agree with your philosophy.

Personally I prefer to only rip models that are not available for download / purchase.
If they're for sale, and they aren't that expensive and the person really wants it, then my argument is that it's worth the money to pay the author for their work.

That's also a big reason as to why I've decided to do this in the first place...so many amazing models on there that are not even on sale or downloadable in any shape or form...such a shame, good thing we can get them using this method!
