Anyone else here feel like they are bored, yet they can't be bothered to finish or start something new? I keep meaning to get round to a few projects but I keep putting them off. But then you feel like the whole impostor syndrome thing. Anyone relate?

Putting off things a disgustingly amount of time is pretty common.I mean,it's basically the same with how university students mostly study at the end, just before the exams. It's the deadline that pushes them.

It's basically the same here. It's just that there is no clear-cut deadline for you to fear/follow.

And procrastination, especially when there is no push to do something is more common than you think.

What I would advice,is bite the bullet and start it no matter what, even after you read this message.Just say "fuck it" ,go on to do it without any further delay and with haste and think of nothing else(basically the same as when hitting on another person)

The trick is to do the start and get absorbed as it goes on.Follow the steps again if you need to stop for a day or two.
Having someone dynamic and strong-willed around you,to nag you to do it, could definately help.

Or,something else you could do,is "Fake it till you make it"

This video might be an interesting watch for my fellow procrastinators
