#1 I find computer science a very interesting subject to study. I want to start learning a programming language.
My questions are:
Which language should I start with?
I know a lot of people might ask what exactly I am seeking to do, in order to give a precise answer to my question. But really, I just want to start off from somewhere. My goal is to learn a language and then to learn languages. I will study my first programming language to the maximum extent of my capabilities, and by then, I will hopefully have decided on what languages I am interested in. Of course, I will look back to this thread for reference.
Are there any HQ (or at least decent) sources that teach programming languages? If so, tell me about them.
Whether they be free or not, I will look into them. I would prefer them to be free, as I currently don't have any kind of income.
What is your reason for learning a programming language?
Whether it be for job opportunities or as a hobby or anything really. I am interested in what made you intrigued.
That is all. I have nothing else to add (for now?). I thank you if you took the time to read until here. Please don't hesitate to make a post answering only 1 out of the 3 questions I have. I am interested in any answer to any of those 3 questions.

Well, I can share my experiences with you so far. I started two months ago with learning Python and I can tell you this language is a great start to understand the basic concepts of programming. I had some experiences with other languages before but Python really caught my interests and I'm still sticking with it.
After Python, I'll continue with Javascript and go more like into web-development but im not quite sure yet
Apps for learning programming languages:
- Mimo
- Programming Hub
- SoloLearn
The first two apps do cost money, I suggest you search for a cracked version like I did
Websites for learning programming:
- CodeCademy
- FreeCodeCamp
