After Effects vs Photoshop

So I can do some crazy shit in terms of photo editing in after effects. I was wondering if it really is that much worse suing after effects vs something like photoshop to edit graphics for shirts.

I didn't even know you could use AE for photo editing
But I think Photoshop is efortless and less resource consuming idk

After effects and Photoshop are 2 different things for 2 different tasks. AE is for post video editing and Photoshop is for photo editing and design

Both serve different purposes, but the effects you can pull off in only either are insane. Using both together would turn out some really nice graphics.

PS and AE are both usable for editing photos n such. however PS has a better workflow specifically for photos so I feel like it mainly comes down to what UI you like the best.

I don't own Photoshop or After effect also I use Canva and pixlr

you can use after effects for animation your photos but not to create them

Why not use AE for the foundation of your idea, then use Photoshop to finish?
