The concept of Call of Duty is pretty self-explanatory: multiplayer first-person shooter game with a large fan base that spans across many different gaming platforms. The series was created by Infinity Ward and the first Call of Duty game was released in 2003 for Windows PC, before becoming available on other platforms such as Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
