Why do you want to join Anime?: I love anime, but at this point I struggle with finding anime to watch. I've seen a lot of anime. It would be nice to have people assist me in finding new ones. I also like conversing with others about why I think their anime is shit. Do you watch anime?: Well sometimes I watch anime. How many hours of anime do you watch weekly?: I hate these kinds of questions. Maybe whenever I'm free or when I'm not free but I'm on an arc that I can't stop watching. Just watched the first season of Hajime no Ippo and I had that issue quite a bit. That fucker Ippo beats the shit out of people yet he can't talk to a girl, fucking pisses me off. Ok, sorry. My problems aren't yours. Name a few anime shows you've watched.: One Piece
About this dude who is made of rubber bands but can't swim, I thought rubber was supposed to float. There's this guy who cooks, but only for women because he's a sexist pig. One guy chops things, like boats because they're in his way. But which way is the right way? Hmm. This other girl uses her hands a lot and they have a pet raccoon... or is it a reindeer? Whatever, then there's a robot, a dead skeleton, a redhead, and a liar. Great show all in all. The plot is to fuck up what people think is right. Oh you thought the marines were the good guys, you thought wrong.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Two brothers lost their mom, so obviously they get pretty sad about it. So sad that they decide to become God and use science to get her back. As you would expect it doesn't work or go as planned. One boy loses his arm and leg and another loses his body. Wow, that sucks. Their goal is to get their bodies back. They want the red stones, or do they? Spolier: They're state alchemists.
One brother is an astronaut, the other isn't. Then there's this pug who is kawaii af. Good shit right here.
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0
Only anime where I have actually felt bad for the main protagonist. So awful that I was shedding tears. Watch this anime in one go. Don't want to spoil anything but there's a huge earthquake and people die. It's not all sorrow though, fun times are had... but they're just filler until the real tragedy.
Smartest teenager alive you ask? Oh that's just this kid who has the power to make people do whatever he wants. Fuck that skid Zero, thinks he's so cool. I changed my mind, don't watch this crap.
Fastest man on Akina mountain you ask? Oh just some kid. Wait some kid can drift better than people who have been driving all there lives? Why? How? Well he's a tofu shop delivery boy, that's why. This anime has made fools buy a shitty panda trueno. Good job Shuichi Shigeno, thanks to you teenagers in Japan made the huge mistake of buying a shit car. Congrats. Good anime and manga though, worth your time.
Sidonia no Kishi
The animation is different, but if you can get over that you'll find a great anime that isn't all about killing aliens in mechas, but a love story between a man and a woman and.... err... a... well another gender. A third gender if you will. Anyways, again like the above anime it's worth your time. I really enjoyed it and it was my favorite 2015 anime.
What is your favourite anime series? Why?: My favorite anime of all time is FLCL or Fooly Cooly. The best six episodes you will ever watch. I'm a huge fan of mecha anime and after watching anime such as Gurren Lagann and Gundam Wing I wanted more. This led me to this... the fucking weirdest shit you will ever see. Well that I've ever seen, you guys watch some weird shit. Boku no Pico was one of them. Why? Anyways, FLCL is about this kid Naota who spawns Canti. His maid that also protects his boring town, that he has said countless times... "Nothing amazing ever happens here". Then this alien shows up called Haruko who has sexual relations with his dad... but Naota is jealous of course. Anyways, it's a good fucking anime and you should watch it. Will you be active in the sub-forum?: I've been apart of other anime groups on other forums and I was never kicked due to inactivity. I tend to drink a lot of beer, sometimes I say things, just so happens that sometimes the things I say lead to me being kicked...
Why do you want to join Anime?: I'd love to join the anime group because it would seriously make my time on this forum that much better. Having a place to exclusively talk about anime with other anime watchers would be amazing. I'm a huge anime fan, and have been for many years. It's simply part of who I am now, and it's my main hobby. To not be a part of the anime group on this forum would be a huge let-down for me. If I could become a part of this group, I'd be so freaking happy. ;_;
It would be great to see what kind of discussion goes on inside of the group and to start discussions of my own. I'll definitely do my best to help make the group even more active. It would be such an honor to become a part of such a kawaii group of people. If I'm accepted into the group, I will do my best to live up to your expectations and prove to you that I'm not just an average Joe when it comes to anime.
Do you watch anime?: Heh, funny question. I've been watching anime since way back in high school (yeh, been out for a while now lol). It's almost a routine for me now. I get back from work, cook me some food, and put on whatever anime I'm currently watching. I like all genre of anime, some more than others, but if it is a good anime, I will watch it. I mainly like action, adventure, shounen (plz no hate), and romance. I've seen all of the popular shounen and actually liked them, I'm usually that guy arguing that mainstream anime is actually good. But don't get me wrong, I've seen many many anime that aren't mainstream or popular.
I'm also a converter, I mean I'm trying to force people to become weebs everyday. Gotta spread that anime religion, you know? I feel like if people knew how amazing anime actually is, it would be so much more widely accepted and not seen as weird, simply cartoon porn, or whatever. I'll still be watching anime when I'm 80, that's all I know.
How many hours of anime do you watch weekly?: Well let's see. I'll usually watch about four hours on weekdays, maybe like eight if I'm binging something, but that isn't very often these days. And on weekend night maybe about six hours. So I'll go with about thirty hours a week. But I do read a lot of manga on my phone too throughout the week while I'm at work. I work from home (lmao), so that leaves me able to take a lot of breaks and read like fifty pages of chapters or whatever, haha. I think that I'm reading about sixty different manga right now. -_-
Name a few anime shows you've watched.: Alright, I'll choose a few from my list that I particularly liked.
This was a cute, funny, short and enjoyable anime. I really love anime like this. Yeah, I usually go for the action and battle series, but this one actually got me hooked because each episode was actually going somewhere, which isn't all that common for slice of life anime like this. Did I mention that it was funny as fuck? Well, it was. The MC is a girl, and a rational, intelligent, yet goofy one (my favorite type). The other mainish character is an oblivious dude, which I usually hate, but they made him so dense that it was goddamn hilarious. There's a bit of romance in the show too, which is nice.
Major is my favorite sports anime to date. It's six seasons long, and it;s so fucking worth it. This is the first sports anime I've seen that follows a boy from his toddler days up until he actually enters the professional world in his sport. It was a long, but fucking amazing ride. I've seen a lot of sports anime, probably every good one, tbh. And this one has so many emotional moments, and does everything so well. Not only that, the most important part of an anime, in my opinion, is the main character. This main character really grows on you, he's just a real man. The sound of his voice just gets me all hot and bothered, and he's just a man o doesn't back down, you know?
This anime right here is one of my favorite anime of all time, probably being in my top three. I always try to get people to watch this one, overall it's simply an amazing anime, I think it's rated very highly on MAL too. Nodame, the main character, is very unique. Nodame has a very strange way of acting and very weird speech patterns, basically, she's fucking hilarious. This is an anime based around romance and classical piano music. It pulls off both sides wonderfully. The music used in the anime is very very beautiful and the scenes when they play the music are very cool. The relationship between the two main characters, Chiaki and Nodame, is what made me love this anime so much. You've got to watch this anime if you love a good romance and music.
A more popular anime, but I couldn't not list this one. Another anime that's probably up there in my top five. People mainly recommend this anime for the comedy, which is fine, because it's funny as shit. But that's not all it is, it's an action packed shounen anime with some very emotional scenes and good story arcs. Some of the more serious arcs were the best written stories I've ever seen in anime. So you've got that mixed with funny as shit, and have one of the best anime of all time.
What is your favourite anime series? Why?:
Love Stage!! (not really my favorite, but I had to choose something right)
Now, you don't have to be a homo to enjoy this anime, but homos might enjoy it more. I personally am not a homo, but I enjoyed this anime immensely. The MC is simply just too kawaii, I could barely handle it. I almost moved to Japan to find a cute trap to hook up with, but I sadly never did. The cool thing about this anime is that it's not ALL about the gay/romance stuff, it also kind of has a plot too. It keeps you interested and makes you want to keep watching for the story, which is more than I can say for most anime like this one.
Will you be active in the sub-forum?: That's the main reason that I want to join. I love talking about anime and manga. You will definitely see me posting in the subforum and having conversations and shit. I'll be spreading my One Piece religion mostly. Nah but I'm down to watch any kind of anime, it's just that I'm particularly fond of MCs who are made out of rubber. Anyway, to answer your question, yes.

Why do you want to join Anime?:I just started watching anime again in August (hadn't since I was a wee lad) and this group seems like a lot of fun. I don't find any of the other groups interesting. I need more groups with an actual purpose to keep me entertained so that's why I feel like Anime would be a great fit for me. I would love to engage in the various discussions that take place in the group. Especially if it's about glorious NSFW content and anime. Oh, and the UB is the cutest. c:
Do you watch anime?:I've just started watching anime again back in August. I never really had the time but I'm slowly starting to get into the groove of the whole anime scene.
How many hours of anime do you watch weekly?: I watch around 5-10 hours a week because I'm usually occupied with school or work but I make time for it if it's a really good anime.
I watched this on Netflix last year and it instantly became one of my favorite anime. I like how the story develops, it's easy to follow, and has a lot of unexpected twists/turns. With tons of character development and unparalleled animation, this might just fall under one of the best anime I've watched so far. The premise of the show grabbed my attention early and kept me entertained all the way through. Although, I must say the Yukine stuff was a bit boring.
Steins:Gate falls under one of my favorite psychological anime simply because of the plot twists. The concept of time travel caught my eye for uniqueness and it was overall a very well put together show. I'd like to say what I loved most about this specific anime but I'll leave it at that since I wouldn't want to spoil it for you guys. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is just getting into anime like myself.
What is your favourite anime series? Why?:
Future Diary (Mirai Nikki)
The story isn't original, but that doesn't make it any less interesting. The way it pans out, slowly, and so that when you think you know what's going to happen next, things take a completely different turn is brilliant. There were plot twists that personally, I think the anime could have gone without because it ended up making things more complicated. The ending was pretty terrible. However, it wasn't bad to the point where I would give the anime a terrible rating. I watched all 26 episodes and not once did I find myself getting bored. I would say my favorite thing about this anime would be the animation. It was exquisite and tailored to perfection with fluid movements as well as it's own dash of originality.
Will you be active in the sub-forum?:I'll try to be active as I can in the sub-forum because I also have to take into account my work and uni shit. However, I believe Anime harbors great discussions about topics that I find interesting so being active shouldn't be a problem. If something were to happen where I'd have to be inactive for a little, I'll make sure to let someone in charge of the group know.
Why do you want to join Anime?: I like anime, and I enjoy making new friends that like anime as well. Do you watch anime?: Well, duh! How many hours of anime do you watch weekly?: If I am not marathoning, usually ~5. Name a few anime shows you've watched.:Animelist What is your favourite anime series? Why?: Kara no Kyoukai. I love the philosophy behind the story along with the fantastic art, animation, and OST. Will you be active in the sub-forum?: Absolutely!
