Anime is Cartoon

Anime can be classified as a cartoon since cartoons are animations generally speaking but saying that anime movies aren't actual movies also discredits animated Disney and Dreamworks movies as well. So classifying anime as just animation is probably better than classifying as a cartoon if you want to say it's not a valid art form/entertainment option.

Animated visualized motion pictures are called cartoons in simple terms. Anime is the chosen term for describing cartoons made by Japanese.

Anime is not just cartoons, it's a comic books also and it's just coolest thing

About fear,it's the old cartoons as a child, I will remember them,but now anime is very cool
